Intitiative 31 passes overwhelmingly; private
property rights protected |
The Mississippi Farm Bureau heralded approval
of a ballot initiative by Mississippi voters on Tuesday that
would ban the state from using eminent domain to give land

felt all along that the best way to promote economic development
is with a willing buyer and a willing seller.”
