YF&R Achievement Award

Each year, this award is presented to recognize Mississippi's young farmers for high achievement in agricultural production, management, and leadership. The contest is not based on size of the operation. The winner is selected by judging what the applicant is doing with the operation.

Prizes

STATE WINNER:

A full size pickup truck: Courtesy of Southern Farm Bureau Casualty
$500 cash: Courtesy of Dodge
100 hours use of John Deere tractor
300 hours use of Kubota tractor
$1800 towards the purchase of a home computer
Expense paid trip to compete in American Farm Bureau Young Farmer of the Year Contest
